Crafting Ceramic Plaster Knobs for Libertine Lindenberg Hotel

In 2016 we had the great honor of collaborating with the Studio Kathi Kæppel and the Libertine Lindenberg Hotel. We created these splendid ceramic plaster knobs for the taps in their very stylish rooms. Just across the entrance from its sister hotel, Lindenberg Rückertstraße, Libertine Lindenberg in Frankfurt am Main has a name that seems to indicate a slightly freer approach to the traditional hotel concept. This is partly due to its setting in the very picturesque Alt-Sachsenhausen neighbourhood of Frankfurt. AKA, the “apple cider district”, with its classic taverns and museums, has a romantic charm that has also attracted a large number of young people, who have settled there recently. The Libertine fits in perfectly: every inch of its artistic and welcoming personality is a quiet response to Frankfurt’s buttoned-down, professional image.
